Challenge Poems
This assignment is to in 16 lines OR LESS write about "hot and cold". Like darkness and light they are opposites and you are to write about them metaphorically together and even how they relate (if you wish). You must use at least one other word for each (besides the words hot and cold) in your poem
Hot or Cold
The wind is howlingThe snow is falling
Its cold as ice
Here in summer
Another day later
The suns a shinning through
The colds gone replaced by heat
Time for the summer time blues
But wait whats that
A storms a coming
Here comes the rain
And that cold weather
And back to hot
The very next day
Hot and cold is this years
Summer holidays
